Tree Frogs descend on my open 356 Cabriolet . . .
. . . while it was parked in front of the Washtenaw Dairy, as I was going for
an ice cream cone.
It turns out that a former colleague (whom I'd not seen in a few years) is the honorary
coach of the 5th grade girls soccer team at Eberwhite Elementary School here in Ann Arbor.
He and his wife were treating the team members
to 'end of season' ice cream treats at the local ice cream parlor and coffee 'hang out'.
As I drove up to park my 'Signal Red 356 Cab', a crowd of green-shirted Tree Frogs
descended on my hapless old Porsche. I had hardly time to grab my trusty old Nikon D1 and start blazing
away; anyway, I got half a dozen or so shots off of this high spirited and unruly bunch. Here is
the best example.
